Current (Amps)

We mounted the solar panel and the LDR bracket on the stand.  Then we applied 12 volts to each motor to determine the maximum current draw during normal operations.  Here are the results.

Pan Motor: 28 mA max 

Tilt Motor: 32 mA max

Since both motors can run at the same time, the maximum current under normal operations is 50 mA.

We had a 500 mA fuse.  So, we decided to use it to protect our electrical circuit.
