Anglus and now I have no one to get dinner for so I will take a lunch before I continue further.  Well; Ahem, I feel somewhat refreshed and so will prolong my epistle.  I saw all the girls since my return and all inquired for you.  Marcella Dirff has gone to Gaylord to stay with her sister.  She went yesterday.  She intends to stay up there all winter.  Ryan’s people loose the Post Office this month.  It hasn’t been decided yet who has it.  Dan Malony has gone to Ann Arbor to study law.  Dr. Johnson, Mr. Somerville and all your other acquaintances are all well.

They had quiet a swell protestant wedding in town Thursday.  The church was decorated with ferns and autumn leaves they said.  She was bookkeeper at Reodan’s.  Well I must make this page do for I am sure you must be fatigued now.  I presume Irene is old enough to laugh now.  Of course she is nicer to handle now.  Tell Sadie, I want to know if she spins yet especially home from Mass.  I wonder what T. Mc thought about me.  I was surprised that he asked me to dance.  Poor fellow.  You saw the farewell shake hand’s on the porch so all is over now and I was not called an account for the past.

Well: Miss Golden (I must call you that while I can).  I will have to close for want of paper so wishing you the best of luck in your undertaking and hoping you will never regret it, I will close hoping to hear from you soon.

I remain your cousin,

Mary

Love to all

Fr. Malone has just arrived and so I will not be lonesome now.

Yes, I saw the Observer.  It was good.
