Aug 6^th 1887

 

Dear Lizzie:-

 

Well Lizzie I was very much surprised to get a letter from you. But I want to know what you waited for Mary Hoban to go away for, I cannot imagine, but I will find out soon.  I am coming down to your house week after next.  Remember you may expect me.  Do you want me to bring May or do you not?  Write and tell me in a hurry, do not wait as long as you did before, for if I do not get a letter before I come up to your house, (or before it is time to come) I shall not come.

 

Lizzie yesterday was my birthday.  I will tell you what I got when I come up to your house.  12 years old big girl.

 

Well xxxx that is all the news.  Good By.  Write soon as possible
