Is very near supper time.  Old Auntie (xoxes) was (Sxxart) Sunday when Etta didn’t go after any milk.  She thought I wouldn’t take any more. Stop.

St Patrick’s Day, in the morning, well Frank layed of today expecting Mart but did not come.  He just went down town to see the parade.  He will be back to dinner.  It was so cold I would not take Irene out to be hanging around the corners.  Tell Will that maple syrup was fine for pancakes and we are ever so much obliged till better paid.  Tell Will Golden that he better come up some Saturday night if he don’t want his head took off.

Did you find Irene’s teething ring in your sachel.  I know we took it but I can’t find it.  Guess I forgot half of her clothes.  Left some at home and some to Kate’s.  Thought sure I would hear from Kate today.  Guess she is mad but I can’t help it now.  Write and let me know when you expect to come up.  (Frank said for you to keep the ring)  It might come handy.  Suppose you have green on today.  Had a nice shamrock I was going to sent you but Frank gave it to Etta Hughes this morning when she brought the milk.  I could I wont say what when he said to give it to her.  She didn’t have any green.  St. Patrick’s picture was on it.  Frank got it for me to wear but I did not want to go.

Will close with love.  Mary

Write soon
